The Chariot tarot

The Chariot represents force and control, dealing specifically with emotions. This card is about emotional discipline, not repression, but the powers of the mind to shape the desires of the heart, and direct them into meaningful expression. The charioteer will not sweep his emotions under the carpet, but will train them for his own use. Without discipline the horse would run wild and go in whatever direction they choose. Emotions are similar; we need passion to fuel our creative energy, but undisciplined passion leads to chaos.

The sword represents the male principle of action, the lotus the female principle of receptivity - a balance. The moon emotions, the horses passion, and the man logic.

A Course In Miracles perspective.

They extreme ups and downs of our emotions are caused by our inconsistent and often incongruent beliefs warring inside of us. We are unaware of the cause of the disquiet, but feel it keenly. The desire for Love and the fear of Love, if held in the same mind will cause erratic behaviour or feelings, until the beliefs are aligned, consistent behaviour is impossible.

"Everyone makes an ego or a self for himself, which is subject to enourmous variation because of it's instability. He also makes an ego for everyone else he perceives, which is equally variable." Ch 4.ll,2. ACIM

The Magician Tarot

The fire in this image represents transformation, the ruins represent ancient knowledge, the chalice symbolizes receptivity and acceptance, the star on the third eye, focused thought.

Creation and individuality. The Magician's power is transformation through the use of will. The Magician can take nothing and shape it into something. A conduit for higher power, commanding the material world. True power comes from inside, the inner source is needed. The union of positive and negative, creation, preservation, destruction and redemption.

When you pick the Magician tarot, it is a sign you are ready to become a conduit for inner power.

A Course In Miracles perspective..
Without our connection to Spirit, we often feel scared and alone, victims of a world we have little control over. Once connected to our Inner Guide, surrendered to the power within, we are gently shown the way.

" I have said that the abilities that you possess are only shadows of your real strength."

The Moon Tarot

The Tarot is a classic divination tool used by those seeking help and guidance from Spirit. I have used digital imagery and classic symbols to create a new vision for tarot. The definitions are poetic, clarifying the imagery and what the card may mean in a reading, followed by a complementary exerpt from A Course In Miracles.

The problems we face in our lives are universal and archetypal. The tarot can be used to connect to Spirit n times of need or confusion. A Course In Miracles will help implement the changes you need to achieve Peace.

Enjoy these creations and please share the blog if you enjoy it! Thanks!

The "Moon"
The images on this card are a crystal ball, representing intuition and sixth sense, the path symbolizes our journey in the dark. Frosted trees illicit a feeling of fragility, the flying dove, a harmless movement in the dark that may scare us, and of course the Moon, The Goddess, feminine power and influence.
Things are not always what they seem, and what was clear in the light of day can become scary in the light of the moon.We are all susceptible to illusions and deception. What you see depends on the lens of perception through which you look. The ordeal of the moon...not seeing your path clearly, travelling without a map or compass. Your inner light becomes your only beacon.

A Course In Miracles Perpective

The illusion that we call "reality". We are deceived by our beliefs which warp our perception. It is only by going inside and developing our spiritual vision that we can come to see the Truth, free of all preconceptions.

"Holiness can never really be hidden in darkness, but you can deceive yourself about it."
