When all else seems lost, the Star will appear to help guide you back on your path. The Star needs the dark to be seen. This light is not a dramatic flash, but a gentle glow, radiating hope, guiding you to the gentle Peace that awaits inside. The star bids you to look to heaven for guidance. This is a card of faith, believe it will happen and it will, just be aware of what it is you believe in.
The pool represents the subconscious mind; dip your toe in and find your Star.
A Course In Miracles perspective.
There are a million roads in this world that call to us, but each one will lead to eventual disillusionment. We have all chased something and know this to be true. Believing this person, place or thing would bring us happiness we sought it determinedly. The Course ask you to search deep inside for the light of Truth; there you will find your true purpose - to wake up and be happy, and then to help others awaken , by your example.
"When you are sad, know that this need not be. Depression comes from a sense of being deprived of something you want and do not have. Remember that you are deprived of nothing except by your own decisions, and then decide otherwise." Ch4, lV,3. ACIM
